About this task

Turn photos of receipts, signed forms, homework or ID documents into a single PDF that email and upload forms accept. This page opens the images to PDF tool with A4 pages, the orientation matched to each photo and no margin, so every picture fills its page as fully as its proportions allow.

JPG files go into the PDF as they are, without being compressed again, so the PDF is about as large as the photos together and keeps their full quality; phone photos with a rotation tag are re-encoded upright first. Up to 50 images of up to 8 MB each are combined in your browser.

How to do it

  1. Choose or drop up to 50 JPG images; PNG and WebP work too.
  2. Put them in order with the up and down arrows. Each image becomes one page.
  3. Keep “Page size” on A4 and “Margin (mm)” at 0, or choose US Letter or “Same as each image”.
  4. Enter an “Output file name”, select Run, then preview and download the PDF.

Common questions

My PDF is too large to upload. What now?

Because the JPGs are not recompressed, the PDF is as big as the photos. Compress the photos first, for example to 200 KB each, or run the finished PDF through the PDF compressor.

Will the photos be cropped to fit A4?

No. Each photo keeps its proportions and is scaled to fit the page, so a photo that is not A4-shaped leaves white strips at the sides or at the top and bottom. Choose “Same as each image” to make each page exactly the size of its photo.

Do portrait and landscape photos get the right page orientation?

Yes. With “Orientation” on “Match each image”, wide photos get landscape pages and tall or square ones portrait pages, all in the same PDF.
