About this tool

Reorder pages in a PDF: move a page to the front, swap two pages or fix the page order of a scanned document, without changing anything else in it.

Enter the new order, such as 3,1,2; pages you do not list follow in their original order. Turn on “Reverse the page order” to put the last page first, for example after scanning a stack in the wrong direction. Your PDF never leaves your browser.

How to use it

  1. Choose a PDF file, or drop it on the page. Once it is read, the total page count is shown.
  2. Enter the “New order”, such as 3,1,2 to move page 3 to the front, or leave it blank to keep the current order.
  3. Optionally turn on “Reverse the page order”; it is applied after the new order.
  4. Select Run, then preview the result and download it.

Common questions

Do I have to list every page?

No. The pages you list come first, in that order, and every other page follows in its original order. For example, 4 on a 5-page PDF gives the order 4,1,2,3,5.

How do reversing and the new order combine?

The new order is applied first, and then the whole result is reversed. With no order and reversing on, a 3-page PDF becomes 3,2,1.

Are bookmarks and forms kept?

Yes. The pages are rearranged inside the same document, so bookmarks, links, form fields and document information keep working.

Why is my PDF refused?

Password-protected PDFs, digitally signed PDFs, damaged files, files over 80 MB and documents over 500 pages are refused with a message saying why. A page may appear only once in the new order.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The pages are reordered in your browser, and the PDF stays on your device until you close or clear the page.
