About this tool
Resize photos and graphics to a set width and height, for example to shrink camera photos to fit within 1200 px for a web page, turn product shots into same-size squares for a shop listing, or match the dimensions an upload form asks for.
Choose how each image fits: keep its proportions, crop to fill, pad to the exact size with a colour, or stretch. Small images are only enlarged when you allow it. Up to 20 images (8 MB each) are resized in one go with the same settings and keep their format, all in your browser without uploading.
How to use it
- Choose up to 20 JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP or TIFF images, or drop them on the page.
- Enter the “Width” and “Height” in pixels and pick a “Fit” option.
- Tick “Allow upscaling” if smaller images may be enlarged. For “Fit inside, pad to the exact size”, set the “Padding colour”.
- Select Run.
- Preview the results, then download them one by one or all together as a ZIP.

Common questions
Why isn’t the result exactly the width and height I entered?
“Fit inside, keep the whole image” keeps the proportions, so the image fits within the box and one side is usually shorter; small images also stay at their size unless “Allow upscaling” is on. For exact dimensions, choose “Fill the size, crop the excess”, “Fit inside, pad to the exact size” or “Stretch to the exact size”.
Why do I get an error saying the image would need upscaling?
“Fill the size, crop the excess” and “Stretch to the exact size” will not enlarge an image unless “Allow upscaling” is on, so a width or height larger than the original fails. Turn the option on, enter a smaller size, or use “Fit inside, pad to the exact size”, which centres a smaller image on the padding at its original size.
Why did the transparent background of my PNG turn white?
With “Fit inside, pad to the exact size” and “Stretch to the exact size”, the “Padding colour” is painted under the whole image, white by default. Enter transparent to keep transparency in PNG, WebP, GIF and TIFF results; JPG and BMP cannot be transparent and get white instead.
Does resizing change the format or the quality?
Each image keeps its format, and JPG and WebP results are saved again at quality 0.92. Photos are first turned upright by their EXIF orientation, and EXIF details such as location are not kept.
Can I resize an animated GIF?
No. Animated images and multi-page TIFFs are rejected with an error; only single-frame images can be resized.

Convert image format (HEIC to JPG, PNG, WebP)
Convert images between JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF and ICO icons, and turn iPhone HEIC or HEIF photos into JPG, PNG or WebP; AVIF can also be read where the browser decodes it. Animated images are not supported, and files are not uploaded.
Crop images
Crop one region from every image, in pixels or percent, as a rectangle, a circle or ellipse, or a rounded rectangle. Outside a shape is transparent, so JPEG and BMP shapes are saved as PNG.
Split images into a grid
Cut every image into rows × columns tiles, such as a 3 × 3 grid for social posts, optionally from the centred square. Tiles keep the input format and are numbered by row and column.
Convert images to ICO icons
Make a Windows or website icon (favicon.ico) holding several sizes from 16 to 256 px, with optional rounded corners or a circle.
Remove image metadata
Remove location and camera metadata from images before sharing.
