Rotate and flip images
Rotate JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and TIFF images by 90°, 180° or any angle, and flip them horizontally or vertically. A tilted photo can be straightened by cropping off the corners the turn uncovers.

About this tool
Rotate JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and TIFF images by 90°, 180° or any angle, and flip them horizontally or vertically, right in your browser without uploading them. Use it to turn sideways photos and scans upright, mirror a selfie, or straighten a photo taken at a slight tilt.
Enter the angle in degrees clockwise; a negative angle turns left. For angles that are not a multiple of 90°, either enlarge the canvas so the whole image shows, or crop to the largest upright rectangle inside the turned image so no empty corner is left. Up to 20 images, 8 MB each and 80 MB in total, get the same settings in one run.
How to use it
- Choose or drop up to 20 JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP or TIFF images.
- Enter the “Angle” in degrees: 90 turns right, −90 turns left, 180 turns the image upside down, and a small value such as 2 or −3 straightens a tilted photo.
- Pick a “Flip” if you also want a mirror image; it is applied after the turn.
- For angles other than 90° steps, choose whether to enlarge the canvas or crop to straighten, and what fills the “Uncovered corners”: transparent, white or black.
- Select Run, preview the results, then download them one by one or all together as a ZIP.

Common questions
How do I straighten a tilted photo?
Enter the small angle that levels it, for example 2 to turn it slightly clockwise or −2 to turn it anticlockwise, and choose “Crop to the largest upright rectangle (straighten)”. The result keeps the largest upright rectangle that fits inside the turned photo, so no empty corners show; the edges outside it are cut off. If the horizon is still not level, change the angle and run again.
Why does my rotated JPG have white corners?
When the canvas is enlarged for an angle that is not a multiple of 90°, the corners the turn uncovers are filled as set in “Uncovered corners”. The default is transparent, but JPG and BMP cannot store transparency, so they get white. Choose “Black” for black corners, use PNG or WebP images to keep them transparent, or choose the crop option to leave no corners at all.
What is the difference between rotating and flipping?
Rotating turns the image around its centre; flipping mirrors it. “Flip horizontally (mirror left–right)” swaps left and right, as a mirror does, which helps with selfies or text that reads backwards; “Flip vertically (upside down)” swaps top and bottom. When you set both, the image is turned first and then flipped.
Does rotating lower the quality or remove photo details?
Each image keeps its format and file name. It is redrawn, so JPG and WebP results are saved again at quality 0.92. Photos are first turned the way photo viewers show them, using their EXIF orientation, and EXIF details such as the camera and location are not kept.
Can I rotate an animated GIF?
Only its first frame is kept, so the result is a still GIF image.

Adjust image brightness, contrast and saturation
Change the brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, warmth and sharpness of photos, or make them black and white (grayscale), sepia or negative. The same settings apply to every image in the batch.
Blur faces in photos
Find every face in your photos and cover it with pixels (mosaic), a blur or a black shape, to hide who is in a picture before you share it. Faces are found by a small model that runs in your browser.
Compress images
Reduce image file sizes with adjustable quality and a target file size.
Convert image format (HEIC to JPG, PNG, WebP)
Convert images between JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF and ICO icons, and turn iPhone HEIC or HEIF photos into JPG, PNG or WebP; AVIF can also be read where the browser decodes it. Animated images are not supported, and files are not uploaded.
Crop images
Crop one region from every image, in pixels or percent, as a rectangle, a circle or ellipse, or a rounded rectangle. Outside a shape is transparent, so JPEG and BMP shapes are saved as PNG.
Split images into a grid
Cut every image into rows × columns tiles, such as a 3 × 3 grid for social posts, optionally from the centred square. Tiles keep the input format and are numbered by row and column.
