About this tool
Combine a series of images into one animated GIF, for example to turn product photos into a short slideshow, to show the steps of a tutorial, or to make a reaction image from a few frames.
Images play in the order of the file list. You set the size, how long each frame shows, how often the animation repeats and how many colours each frame uses; images of a different shape are fitted inside or cropped to fill the frame. Up to 100 images are combined in your browser, and nothing is uploaded.
How to use it
- Choose 2 to 100 JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO or AVIF images, and use the up and down arrows in the file list to set their order.
- Set the “Width” and “Height”: 480 px wide by default, with a height of 0 keeping the first image’s ratio. Choose how “Images of another shape” fit, and the “Background”.
- Set the “Frame delay” in milliseconds, the “Plays” (0 loops forever), the “Colours per frame” and the “Output file name”.
- Select Run, watch the animation in the preview, then download it.

Common questions
How is the size of the GIF decided?
With both width and height set, every frame has that size. With one of them at 0, it follows the first image’s ratio, and with both at 0 the first image’s size is used. A frame may have at most 4 million pixels, such as 2000 × 2000.
What happens to images of a different shape?
“Fit inside, fill the margins” shows the whole image and fills the empty space with the “Background” colour, white by default. “Fill the frame, crop the excess” covers the frame and cuts off what sticks out.
Can the GIF have a transparent background?
Yes: enter transparent as the “Background”. GIF pixels are either fully transparent or solid, so half-transparent edges become one or the other.
Why do colours look banded?
GIF holds at most 256 colours per frame, so photos and smooth gradients lose detail. Keep “Colours per frame” at 256 for the best result; lower values make the file smaller.
Can I use animated images as input?
No. Animated GIF, WebP, PNG and AVIF files and multi-page TIFFs are refused; each image must be a single frame of up to 8 MB and 4 megapixels. To reuse the frames of an existing GIF, split it first with “Split a GIF into frames”.
Related tools
Split a GIF into frames
Export every frame of an animated GIF, or every Nth frame, as a full PNG, WebP or JPEG image composited as a viewer shows it.
Convert image format (HEIC to JPG, PNG, WebP)
Convert images between JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF and ICO icons, and turn iPhone HEIC or HEIF photos into JPG, PNG or WebP; AVIF can also be read where the browser decodes it. Animated images are not supported, and files are not uploaded.
QR code and barcode reader
Read QR codes and barcodes from up to 20 PNG, JPEG or WebP images, including several codes in one image.
Compress images
Reduce image file sizes with adjustable quality and a target file size.
Crop images
Crop one region from every image, in pixels or percent, as a rectangle, a circle or ellipse, or a rounded rectangle. Outside a shape is transparent, so JPEG and BMP shapes are saved as PNG.
Split images into a grid
Cut every image into rows × columns tiles, such as a 3 × 3 grid for social posts, optionally from the centred square. Tiles keep the input format and are numbered by row and column.
