About this tool
Turn text into an image. Use it for a notice, a quote card, a simple text poster or a social media picture, to share text where pasting is awkward, or to make text with a transparent background for a design.
Set the font, size, colours, padding, line height, alignment and wrap width, and save as PNG, JPG or WebP. The image uses fonts already installed on your device, so nothing is downloaded. Up to 64 KB of text and 2,000 lines after wrapping; the image is made in your browser and the text is not uploaded.
How to use it
- Type or paste your text, or select Use example.
- Pick a “Font” (“Sans serif”, “Serif” or “Monospace”) and a “Font size”, tick “Bold” if you like, and set the “Text colour” and “Background”.
- Adjust the “Padding”, “Line height” and “Alignment”. Leave “Wrap width” at 0 to keep your own line breaks, or enter a width in pixels to wrap automatically.
- Choose a “Format”, select Run, then preview and download the image.

Common questions
How do I get a transparent background?
Type transparent into “Background” and choose PNG or WebP as the “Format”. JPG cannot store transparency, so a transparent background becomes white.
Why does the font look different on another computer?
No fonts are downloaded. Each choice uses common system fonts, for example “Sans serif” tries the system UI font, then PingFang SC, Microsoft YaHei and Noto Sans CJK, so the letters and line widths depend on what the device has installed.
How does “Wrap width” work?
At 0, lines break only where you typed them and the image is as wide as the longest line plus padding. With a width, longer lines wrap and the image is that width plus padding on both sides. Chinese can break between any two characters, other text breaks between words, and a word longer than the line is split.
Why does a line start with a punctuation mark?
Wrapping only looks at width and has no rules for punctuation, so a Chinese comma or full stop can end up at the start of a line. Add a line break by hand or change the “Wrap width” slightly.
How large can the image be?
Up to 24 megapixels, with neither side over 16384 pixels. If the text would make a bigger image, the run stops with an error; reduce the font size, padding or amount of text.
